An ongoing mission...

Greetings Lifeforms!

Discarded Toy Media is the collection of works by mixed media artist, musician, writer, voice actor and polymath Sihn Starr Cartia. This store's mission, if you choose to support it, is to feed, clothe, house and help physically transform Mx. Cartia. In turn, your support makes more art, music and what she likes to call "disturbance".

All the merchandise sold here is provided by on-demand print services that are eco-friendly, have carbon neutral certifications, not tested on animals or made from animal derived products, use vegan certified inks, fair trade materials and other "Leave it better than you found it." policies. Some of the products sold here are hand crafted by Sihn herself, in her modest studio, located somewhere outside The Circuit, just past the 12th Of Never, where it is always "Welcome" when arriving or departing. She also creates using the above described materials but, with slightly different methods.

When you have praise or problems, you are speaking to one person. Please be respectful in all communications and understand that we are a corporation of one. It may take a bit longer than you expect for us to return your communication.

If you wish to discuss comissioned work, please do so through either this store, our Facebook, Instagram or Messenger. If you prefer e-mail, discardedtoymedia@discardedtoymedia.com is our address. Please put "Commission Request" in your Subject.

Thank you for your time and interest in my work. If you have been a fan of Sihn for years, we still appreciate you after all this time.

This store in it's first iteration was on Sihn's original website "the-coil.com". She sold her handmade silk screened posters and t-shirts, and gave away over 5000 copies of her first music album "Enter" by The Coil Of Sihn for free to the international audience that discovered her from her blogs, social media, online radio, live shows and forums. She destroyed over 10 ink jet printers and 6 compact disc burners in the process, which were all reused into a e-waste sculpture. As time went on, she moved over to on-demand printing as more providers came online. Kunaki.com took over for the album replication duties. CD Baby provided digital distribution. Zazzle, Cafe Press and many others took over coffee mug and undies printing.
